In a world full of so much darkness I chose to be someone’s light.

It’s a natural instinct in us women to want to help people. A lot of times we forget about ourselves in the nurturing state, which is a big problem. I wouldn’t want to leave this world without using my purpose in life. Someone can use this mess I mean message. You’re not alone; I’m here with you, and for you. If I give you all of me what’s left for me? I was never the selfish type and while my story helps you, you help me.

We weren’t made for our insides to show. Some say I wear my heart on my sleeves. Outside looking in maybe I do but I don’t agree. Before I could remember I didn’t mind sharing what life was taking me through. Some used to tell me I told people too much. “Hey, that’s what opinions are for.”

I am you and you are me. A lot of us now can relate to Brittany Spears meltdown with her baby daddy. We all know it was deeper than just the kids. When your whole world is being watched and judged. Where do you turn to when you’re supposed to be the role model? Kevin Hart said it best “Laugh at my pain”

I cry and hurt too it’s a part of life. We all want to scream on social media sometimes. For whatever reason, it looks like the right way to ultimately shame someone. When the reality of it is you look like a fool. Could you be the little boy who cried wolf? Complain of the very things that hurt you only to run back to it.

Knowledge-facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education

The more aware we are of things the better we are to self. I don’t consider myself a fool for fighting for someone I love. What do you do when you’re fighting for someone that can get you sick? Wake up people! Life isn’t a battle for who can get that man or who has the most money. Life is about being who God put us on this earth to be. We’re able to share his word through our testimonies.

I didn’t need anyone else’s fame to tell my story. Everyone can relate to a lot of the things I speak on. We’re all so much alike and different at the same time. Show me someone who isn’t working every day to better themselves. Whether if it’s for self, family, or kids. It’s easy to drift or go in the state of depression which then you become still. Does it make someone else better than you? No.

We’re easily sold off designer things or what’s perceived to be a lavish lifestyle. When in reality it’s the simple things that make our heart smile. My son Sincere grabs my hands and intertwines his fingers with mine while walking down the street. That means so much to me. It says so many things without any words being said.

Everything you put out in the universe comes back. Anything I write or whatever I’ve done right or wrong I know he’ll know about it. Do I tread lightly because of that? Yes sometimes. We’re all perfectly imperfect. That’s why if speaking in reference to anyone I never try to bash the individual. Respect is due to a dog.

I’m goofy, spontaneous, giving, and love a good bargain. I sometimes will do something and say now you know that wasn’t the adult you. So that’s enough to say I’m a big kid at heart. I will dance anywhere and don’t care who’s watching. I learned in the midst of my hardest times that I was an overcomer.
